'MY CABIN IN THE MOUNTAINS' can be your personal Smoky Mountain getaway, only 2 hours from Atlanta, yet a world away in the beautiful Northern GA/Western NC Mountains. It's perfect for a couple or a family needing a mountain retreat, the cabin is convenient to outdoor activities (hiking, white-water rafting, tubing, golf) as well as the shopping and antiquing opportunities of Highlands, Franklin, Dillsboro, and Dillard. Inside, we have a beautiful stone floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and its own full bathroom. Upstairs is a roomy loft with two twin beds, a closet, and a full bathroom. Outside, the deck wraps around two sides of the cabin. Located where it is, MY CABIN IN THE MOUNTAINS is convenient to a wide variety of activities and destinations on interest. Access is easy with no steep, winding mountain roads to negotiate. The cabin is just a mile off a 4-lane Hwy, and your hosts, should you ever need them, live close by.

What's nearby?: Tallulah Gorge State Park, Foxfire Museum, Black Rock Mountain State Park, Moccasin Creek State Park, Great Smokey Mountains National Park, white water rafting on the Nantahala River or the Chattooga River, great golf at Kingwood Resort and Sky Valley Resort, and much more. Highlands NC (many shops and boutiques, great restaurants), Franklin NC (movie theatre, The Fun Factory with arcades, batting cages, bowling, gocarts & more, family restaurants), Dillard (antique shops, the Dillard House restaurant).

Where are we?: My Cabin in the Mountains is nestled on the side of Hannah Mountain, a mile north of Dillard GA, right over the Georgia/North Carolina state line, ½ mile off of four-lane 441. An easy 2 hour drive from Atlanta, 1 1/2 hr. drive from Asheville, four hours west of Charlotte.
