Ocean City Condo Summary

Our 4 bedroom beach house has a great view of the ocean sunrise from the East on the ocean side deck. Our property is well maintained. Vinyl re-sided, new roof, queen bed and private bath with jacuzzi in master bedroom, two twin beds in each of other 3 bedrooms. Our beach house is decorated with a homey, beach atmosphere. Outside convenience lights assist in after dark return home. Garage with opener and off street parking (with garage) for up to two cars. Conveniently located near 34th Street entrance to the island, near Acme, CVS, restaurants, community center with playground, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Bring your bikes. Ocean City is bicycle friendly with special lanes. Memorial Day through Labor Day, Ocean City operates bus service to downtown and the boardwalk with pickup right on Central Avenue in front of the beach house. The beach is a three minute walk away.

3721 Central Avenue on the South end of Ocean City Island, convenient to Acme, CVS, 34th Street playground, and restaurants, but removed from traffic. 34th Street Playground is bordered on the West by West Avenue, on the East by Asbury Avenue, on the North by 34th Street, and bordered on the South by 35th Street. This playground has tennis courts, basketball courts, and a playground for small children with bike racks. We rent to families, primarily. Please be at least 25 years of age.

    For two night stays, especially on weekends, weekend rate for two nights will be $600 plus $100 for each additional night.

    All rentals require a $400 refundable security deposit, which you should receive back within a week to 10 days after.
  • Off season weekly rates starting Oct are $850 per week, but there is no phone or computer service, and cable TV is on antenna service level. If you reserve early for the fall, we can leave the phone, TV, and computer access intact, but charge $200 more per week. If phone, TV, and computer are not important, will adjust price.

  • Eight in bedrooms. This beach house really sleeps eight comfortably. To sleep 10, which is possible but not recommended, you can use sleeping bags in one of the bedrooms for small children. The couch in the living room opens to a queen sleeper sofa. With the sleeper sofa open, the living room becomes crowed and provides little privacy for sleepers. There is also a Graco type child's playpen / bed. Best for eight people, or ten if two or more are young children and you do not mind the Graco child's bed.

Notes: While there is room for 10, the beach house comfortably sleeps 8 in the four bedrooms. The other two people would sleep on LR sofa bed or child's Graco. There is a TV in LR with DVD and VCR, master bedroom with VCR, and one other bedroom. All on cable. Unit is on the first floor, which still requires some steps to negotiate for elderly. There are two decks: one on the ocean side and a second off the master bedroom. Out door shower is enclosed. Room for two vehicles to park off street. Garage door opener. Really 2 full bathrooms with a powder room. The property is three blocks from community center with playground for children, tennis courts, and basketball courts. Beach furniture as well. The kitchen is really fully equipped. Cook if you like or go out for dinner. If you wish to rent for more than two weeks, ask us about monthly (4 weeks), quarterly (13 weeks), or six month (26 weeks) rates.

Ocean City Condo Details

Special Season Rates - preseason: Rates for over three weeks are negotiable. If you are interested, please call us so we can discuss this. The rate really depends on how long you wish to stay. Also, for four weeks or more, we would negotiate utility deposit (water, electric, gas) and / or transfer of services to your name (depending on how long your stay would be). Rates will reflect the season and time of year. Clearly, off season rental rates would be much less than rates for summer, peak vacation season rates.

Please no pets or smoking indoors: Our beach house is decorated in beach decor to put you in the mood and spirit for your vacation time in Ocean City. The house is well maintained. We have a reputation for quick response to inevitable repair issues. Washer and dryer is newer, as is smooth Corning top electric stove. We keep the house up to date in terms of decorating, furniture, and repairs. We also keep it well stocked with sundry essentials such as paper towels, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper. While we do not provide sheets and towels, we can recommend a rental source to simplify that aspect of your stay. We do provide beach tags. While our rental agreement will tell you that we do not, we do. I write the rental agreement showing that we do not provide beach tags since we have no control over the vacationers who will have just left on your day of arrival. Lost beach tags require payment of $30 from security deposit so we can replace them for the next tenant. But, we cannot guarantee the tags.

Golf: Golf course is a chip and put course about a mile from the beach house on Bay Avenue. It is fun, and inexpensive if you have your own clubs. The charge is $8 for adults and $6 for children, last I checked. Bring your nine iron and your putter.
