The secluded private community of St. Malo is located on one of the few private beaches in Southern California. Boat and Kayak rentals as well as fishing trips can be booked at the Harbor. For day trips, the Coaster Commuter train as well as Amtrack train station are just a few minutes drive away. Many other local entertainment destinations such us, Legoland, San Diego Wild Animal Park, downtown San Diego, Petco Park and Balboa Park, the Old Globe Theater & museums, Sea World and Mission Bay Park, Torrey Pines Nature Preserve, Scripps Aquarium and the award winning La Jolla Playhouse are an easy drive from St. Malo.
