- Sleeping arrangements: Our chalet can sleep 6 people, or 8 people if the Sleeping Loft with its sleeper sofa is used. It has 3 bedrooms of different sizes and the separate sleeping loft adjacent to the Master Bedroom. The Master Bedroom suite upstairs features a king-sized bed, an adjoining bathroom, and a private covered balcony. ************************************************************************************************************************* The large loft area adjacent to the master bedroom features a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The large bedroom downstairs has a queen-sized bed, and the smaller bedroom downstairs has a standard double bed.

Outdoor activities galore!: For hikers and outdoor enthusiasts, the chalet is located less than 1 mile from McClure Creek and the Tray Mountain Wilderness Area of the Chattahoochee National forest and less than 6 miles from the Appalachian Trail on Tray Mountain. Access to this creek and to the mountain are via nearby US Forest Service Road 79, located to the left of our main driveway as you exit from the house. Drive 8/10 of a mile and take the fork in the road to the left. Four Wheel drive vehicles are recommended if you drive Forest Service Road 79 up Tray Mountain beyond the bridge over McClure Creek. Anna Ruby Falls and Unicoi State Park also feature nearby hiking and swimming activities. There is seasonal beach area located on Lake Unicoi inside the State Park. There is a $3.00 charge for activity parking inside Unicoi State Park. River tubing and swimming are available on the Chattahoochee River in Helen.
