' It is a quiet, 40-mile long lake with little boat traffic, but plenty of ducks, loons, and fish.
Guest Book: Other interesting area attractions from ten minutes to an hours drive include: Buttermilk Falls, Robert Treman State Park, Cornell University, Watkins Glen, the Finger Lakes, Corning Glass Museum, Ithaca College, outdoor summer concerts at Taughannock Park, and over 50 local wineries. Cayuga Lake outlets into the Seneca and Cayuga Canal, which joins the northern ends of Seneca and Cayuga Lakes. This canal connects with the Erie Canal north of Seneca Falls.
