Corolla Attractions: The beaches of Corolla have been cited as some of the best undiscovered beaches! This family-friendly, relaxed town has something to offer everyone. Some of the attractions Corolla is known for are the Currituck Lighthouse (climb to the top for a bird's eye view of Corolla), the historic Whalehead Club which is open for tours and offers a taste of historic Corolla, unique shopping at area boutiques, a movie theater, 2 grocery stores, Rees Jones designed golf course and a short drive to the secluded, remote 4x4 beaches where the wild mustangs still roam free. Corolla is located at the very northern end of North Carolina's Outer Banks and is a 15 minute ride from the town of Duck, 45 minutes to Nags Head and about an hour from Manteo on Roanoke Island.
Outer Banks Attractions: The Outer Banks offer a variety of activities for young and old and all are well within driving distance of the town of Corolla. From the great shopping and dining in the town of Duck (about 10 miles from Starry Night) to the quaint town of Manteo with wonderful shops, the NC Aquarium and historic sites, there is something for everyone in the area.
Guest Book: ' At the condo, there's a stereo, cable TV, VCR and DVD, board games, puzzles, shelves of books, and a fully equipped kitchen to cook up a storm. Visit (trolley) the Corolla Town Center, where you'll find boutiques, restaurant, bakery, ice cream & convenience store, beach rentals, plus new in 2005 things to do. Up the road is the Currituck Beach Lighthouse, the Whalehead Club, and Currituck Heritage Park, where summer concerts and activities keep you engaged in the laid-back but energetic culture of Corolla. If you want to REALLY DRIVE, the Off-Road 4WD beaches are a few miles north. Try it yourself (4WD ONLY), or take a wild horse tour, on 4-wheelers or in the comfort of a Suburban. Starry Night is waiting for you, dressed up for the season!
