The living room has a large granite fireplace, accented with a cathedral ceiling. There is a wonderful fireplace for those evenings when you want to take the chill off. Perhaps you would like to have a Maine Seafood feast, otherwise known as a Lobster or Clam bake around here. Call your order into the Trenton Lobster Pound (5 minutes drive max) have them cook your feast. Pick up your order, and have your own private Maine Seafood feast. Lamoine beach, set in Lamoine State Park is a quiet, less traveled ocean beach and it is only a few minutes from the home. The Bar Harbor golf course is right next door, you can walk to the club house. The less traveled Acadia National Park on the Schoodic Peninsula is a way to see the bold coast of Maine in its raw form. It is a little over a 1/2 hour drive from the Jordan Point House.
