Nanaimo House Summary

This home is perfect in any season. There is an incredible view of the mountains & ocean from the home's wrap-around deck and from almost every room on the upper floor. The kitchen is beautiful with an incredible view from a large picture window. Most appliances are available including a coffee maker, blender, cappuccino maker and toaster (as well as any utensils you may need). Two bedrooms (one king bed & one queen) are upstairs and one bedroom (queen bed) and bath are on the lower/entry level. All furnishings are first class. The upper bath has a tub & shower. The lower bath has a shower. Wall unit hairdryers are provided in both baths as well as an ample supply of towels & other linens. A washer/dryer is located in the lower bath. There are two cable TVs, a VCR/DVD player with one and a VCR with the other. A great selection of board games is available in the den on the first floor. There are fireplaces on both floors. Free Wireless Internet & High Speed Internet.

In the summer spend your day in Nanaimo (or surrounding areas) golfing, shopping, kayaking or experiencing any of the festivals/activities occurring in town. In the evening relax on the wraparound deck while barbecuing and enjoying the outstanding mountain view. Nanaimo is centrally located on Vancouver Island and provides an excellent starting point for many activities. It is home to the World Championship Bathtub Race held the last weekend of July. Throughout the summer there are numerous events which encompass everything from fishing to sailing to art shows.
