Lake side heaven.: This is the perfect place to have your family reunion, a quiet winter weekend in Vermont or a memorable lake vacation or a peaceful ski vacation

There are two golf courses on the island and wonderful bicycling.

Ski: Less than one hour from....... Whiteface Mountain in New York site of 2 winter Olympics. Smugglers Notch Vermont repeatedly voted best family ski area for several years yet also has Vermont's largest vertical drop and triple black diamond slopes Stowe, Sugarbush and Jay Peak slighly over one hour Multiple crosscountry resorts including world famous Trapp Family Lodge (of 'Sound of Music' fame)
