Free local and long distance phone calls and wireless Internet access is available at The Alexander Homestead Log Cabin. 20 minutes to the Cherokee Indian Reservation, 10-15 minutes to the charming town of Waynesville, 35 miles to Asheville, 10-15 minutes to the southern entrance of the Smoky Mountain National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway. Horseback riding, hiking, fishing whitewater rafting all nearby. In the winter enjoy Tube World 1.5 miles away and Cataloochee Ski area 5.5 miles away- no matter where you venture you'll be glad to come home to The Alexander Homestead Log Cabin at the end of the day.
