Is there a yard? Is there parking?: The house sits on a double lot, and the side away from the beach has parking off the street. The garden is separated from the parking by a charming picket fence with an arched rose-covered arbor. The garden has a grassy area , perennial flowers, and a brand new deck. It is very nice to grill your dinner and dine on the deck. Just off the deck is a huge outdoor shower area where you can shower the kids all at once. Parking is available for up to three cars, but a car is not neccesary. Everything you need in Oak Bluffs is within walking distance. If you wish to explore the rest of the island, you can rent a car or bikes just a couple blocks away.

Reunions!: This house is ideal for a small reunion. There is one bedroom and a full bath downstairs. Up the front stairs are three bedrooms and a full bathroom. Up the back steps are two bedrooms and a full bath. This works very well for two or three small families who would like to spend some time together. The large wrap-around porch provides plenty of space for separate activities. There are rockers on the front porch, a porch swing and cafe table facing the ocean, and a large wicker sitting area on the other side. This area is sheltered from the rain and wind and is very nice in the evening or on a rainy day. The deck has a dining table for six as well as a wrap around bench. There is a wooden glider in the garden.

Location: You really cannot find a better location on the island. The house is located just one short block from the Inkwell beach, which is nice and shallow and safe for kids, and four blocks from town, the grocery store, shops, restaurants, etc. Yet the area it is in is very protected from the hustle and bustle of town. It is peaceful and quiet, with not too many cars, where the kids play in the street and passersby say hello to you if you are sitting on the porch. There are large open park areas two blocks to either side of the house where you can play frisbee, soccer, etc. In the evenings they have concerts at one of them: Ocean Park. Walking three blocks away from the beach you will find a lovely playground, with tennis courts and usually a very lively game of basketball going on as well.
