Serenity Cove is located on the beautiful Schoodic Peninsula, minutes from Schoodic Point yet a short drive to Bar Harbor. Enjoy beautiful views of Mount Desert Island and rich shore life including seals, shore birds and eagles. Spectacular view transformations with the changing tides. Expansive deck .A full size ,fully outfitted kitchen. Screened gazebo.

We are about 40 minutes to Acadia at Bar Harbor, about 10 minutes to Acadia at Schoodic, 15 minutes to Ellsworth for shopping and all major services. Acadia National Park is the crown jewel of coastal Maine and offers hiking, biking, mountain climbing, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding and incredible scenery! Canoe and kayak right from the house. Several Down East lighthouses and harbors are within just minutes. We are also close to several fresh water lakes for fishing, boating and swimming. Browse the numerous shops, galleries, and restaurants of Bar Harbor and MDI as well as those on the Schoodic Peninsula. There are several outstanding restaurants in both locations. There are many golf courses in the area and there is high speed ferry service to Nova Scotia, whale watches, and other boat tours - all exceptional! Dig for clams when the tide is out or just hang out on the deck and watch the eagles soar, and listen to the gulls chatter. Stargazing here is an art form.
