Relax in the Comfort Zone located in Corolla Light Resort Village, a premier, award-winning resort. It is handicapped friendly. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Non-smokers only. The Comfort Zone is spacious and beautifully furnished, fully equipped kitchen, more than 100 videos and DVDs, Highspeed Internet, games, books, beach chairs, umbrella, crab trap, etc. Conveniently located two blocks from the Beach, one block from the Sound, and across the street from the all-season Indoor Sports Center (tennis courts, racquetball, aerobics room, weight room, game room, competition size pool, 12 person spa and saunas). The three oceanfront pools and additional recreation center, plus the two soundside pools. Air-conditioned trolleys are also free and available to our guests from Memorial Day to Columbus Day. Nine outdoor, lighted tennis courts all year. Enjoy our beautiful private beach with lifeguards, also our groomed Nature Trail and Gazebos along the Sound

All the extra amenities of the resort are included! Indoor sports center with competition-size pool, spa, exercise equipment, racquetball, indoor tennis, game rooms, etc. Plus more outside pools, two sound side and three oceanfront, with an activity center, game room, cafe, etc., right there at the beach. Nine lighted outdoor tennis courts, basketball, shuffle board, playground and loads of special daily activities and programs for all ages organized by the Resort staff, plus, air conditioned shuttles to take you anywhere within the resort. There is miniature golf and a grassy soccer field; places to roller blade and ride your bikes. In season aero and water sport are available through independent recreational contractors. Walk along the groomed sound side nature trail to enjoy the wetlands and experience the gorgeous sunsets from the pier-end gazebos. The Currituck Lighthouse, Historical Whalehead club and Wildlife Educational Museum are all adjacent to the Resort

Relax in the comfort Zone. The resort employs private life guards and our own 24 hour security staff.

Guest Book: Climb to the top of the still functioning Currituck Lighthouse for a great view or go exploring for the wild horses that still roam freely north, beyond the end of the road. Tour the recently restored historic Whalehead club or the Wildlife Museum being constructed on the same property. The museum will be officially opened in 2005, but daily educational programs will be started this summer for the visitors to Corolla. Nearby is the new Curriituck Golf Club and fantastic shopping at Tim Buck II - All this and the beach too!
