Families are quite welcome, but pets and smoking are not allowed anywhere on the Lodge premises. Call for winter monthly rates.
Loon Lodge is probably the most expensive rental home for its size in Nova Scotia. However, with the large pier and unique view that Loon Lodge enjoys in this special community, we think that it is one of the outstanding vacation values in eastern North America. Compare Loon Lodge rates to the rents for other outstanding waterfront homes in any of the premiere US or Canadian resorts to see the value. Call us - We keep Loon Lodge thoughtfully stocked so you can fly, drive, bus or boat here and be comfortable as soon as you arrive. Also, if you have special needs, let us know in advance and we'll try to help. We can even pre-arrange sailing lessons, sailing or lobster boat harbor tours, deep sea fishing, adventure trips, golf dates, kayak and birding trips, sea cave trips, surfing and scuba diving rentals/trips. A well-stocked village supermarket, gourmet farmers market, excellent bread bakery, varied restaurants, pharmacy, liquor store, bank, visitor center and Wi-Fi Internet cafe are all a 1 min. drive, a 5 min. bike or a 10-25 minute walk around the harbor. But we usually shop, go for dinner, dessert or yacht visiting by using the sturdy inflatable dinghy, canoe or new kayaks, as it only takes 10-15 minutes to row or paddle across the harbor or out to the yacht fleet. Land on the small beach near the village markets or tie up at the Pub wharf for meals, a cool drink or ice cream. Fun

- Master bedroom has a queen bed (60'), four large new casement windows with spectacular panoramic views of the harbor, walk-in closet and antiques to enjoy a breakfast in bed with the morning loon calls, a nap in afternoon breezes and sunshine, or the late Canadian sunset colors. 2nd bedroom has a double (54') bed, two harbor-view windows, antiques, closet, boat models and nautical art. 3rd bedroom has a full (48') bed, antiques, closet and one harbor-view window. A VERY COMFORTABLE INFLATABLE SINGLE BED MAY BE ADDED TO THE 2ND BEDROOM TO ACCOMMODATE LARGER GROUPS MORE COMFORTABLY. All bedrooms have water views, full linens, towels, colorful quilts, hooked rugs, quiet fans, closets, comfortable mattresses and extra pillows/blankets. Also included are a hair dryer, portable crib/playpen, 2 hi-chairs, convenient Diaper Genie II and beach towels. New washer/dryer, laundry sink, ironing/board and clothes line on site.
