What can we say about this magnificent log home built high up on a mountain, completely private, quiet, wonderfully appointed, spacious, luxurious, amazing 20-mile views down the valley to sunset - should we go on?? Beautiful cathedral ceilings give an expansive feel to the living, dining and kitchen areas and lead up to the master bedroom suite. Wrapped by a wide, solid porch with views down the valley, this is a place for quiet meditation and getting back in touch with family and friends. The kitchen is outfitted for the gourmet chef and the main floor of house was recently decorated professionally. The grounds boast a large enclosed porch with screens, Direct TV/VCR, DVD player, CD stereo system, high speed wireless Internet access, washer dryer, charcoal grill and gas grill, everything you'd expect, all wonderfully done and immaculate. Oh - and did we mention there's a hot tub on the deck? This really is a luxurious home!

Located between Andes and Bovina Center, New York, the retreat is a half hour drive west of skiing at Belleayre Ski Resort, just above the East Branch of the Delaware River for fishing, twenty minutes from hiking in the Catskill Park, and five minutes from great dining and shopping in Andes or Delhi - this home is central to everything you could think of doing in the western Catskills.

Andes Lodge Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $1000-$1150/wknd, $400-500 extra nights
  • $1000-$1150/weekend two nights without / with Master bedroom suite
    $2000-$2200/week (except major holiday weeks)
    $8000-$10,000/month



    House cleaning fee of $120 to be left in cash for housekeeper at end of rental, $140 if master is also rented. The security deposit is 30% of the total rental amount for first time renters and is required to reserve the rental

    Delaware County sales tax of 8% is not included in price

  • The upstairs master bedroom and main floor guest bedroom are private and each has a window air conditioner in the summer. Two beds share the downstairs suite with privacy curtains. Fifth sleeping area is the queen pull out sofa in the office that has privacy curtains to separate from the living room, and also a goose feather mattress cover for extra comfort. The master suite is an additional fee. All the bedding's are down pillows and comforters for your sleeping pleasure. So that's sleeping for 10. So gather some friends and family, and tell them you have a special retreat in store for your vacation get-away. No matter what time of year, this is a great setting.

Notes: This is an incredibly luxurious house. We can also help make arrangements with a local caterer for your entertaining. The private lake with swimming dock is also great for kayaking, and the grounds for cross country skiing.

Andes Lodge Details

Private Lake: The house is in a private property association so you have rights to use the lake, tennis courts, basketball court and picnic area. A stunning spot and just a few minutes walk from the house.

Ski: Bellayre Ski Resort is 25 minutes from the house and Ski Plattekill about 35 minutes.

Golf: There are a number of very nice golf courses in the area in Delhi and near Roxbury.
