Outside on the deck or inside from the lovely picture window in the kitchen, you can sit with a cup of coffee at daybreak or a glass of wine at sunset and enjoy the bird's eye view of the harbor from this flat is spectacular (which includes the Bluenose 11 when she is in port). A 'room with a million dollar view,' the eat-in kitchen is a terrific space for cooking and sharing food and fun. The living room offers quiet relaxation, or for those with work to do, an adjoining alcove provides a desk. With three bedrooms (queen and two doubles) there is plenty of space for private R&R. Guests will also enjoy relaxing in the bathroom with a view with a luxury, air whirlpool massage tub.

The Captain's Quarters: Welcome to the Captain's Quarters, the charming & private ground floor flat of Admiralty House, right on the ocean in residential old town Lunenburg. Gorgeous hardwood floors. We think you will feel like the captain of a fine ship in this lovely ground floor suite, especially seated in the fabulous glassed in porch on the waterside of the house. This glorious room provides wonderful vistas of the harbour, a perfect vantage point for watching boats, birds, the sunset or just absorbing the beauty of the water. A private e room, with a very comfortable double futon the captain may choose to bunk down here. Alternately, the spacious master bedroom with a queen sized bed or a very comfortable double pull-out in the living room could be the sleeping quarters of choice. A large eat-in kitchen and a gracious dining room gives lots of scope for enjoying lobster or other bounty of the sea. Shopping: For your convenience, there is a complete grocery store a few hundred yards away, and the delivery boys will cheerfully bring your groceries (including that lobster!) right to the kitchen, free of charge. Almost 20 art galleries in Lunenburg. Great local handcrafts. Lovely sand beaches are 5-10 minutes away. Lunenburg is a perfect location for exploring Nova Scotia. Halifax is only an hour away, and all of the wonders, (crafts, antiquing, traditional music, excellent restaurants)of the south shore villages such as Mahone Bay, Chester, Liverpool, Shelbourne and beaches are at your doorstep.

Golf: There is an excellent 9 hole golf course right across the water. Many other highly rated golf courses within 15-30 minutes. Osprey Ridge, 15 minutes away in Bridgewater was voted the best new course in Canada. Chester has an excellent 18 hole course overlooking the ocean.
