NOW WITH A PRIVATE POOL!! Cross over the Sound and take Rte 12 North. Go thru Duck and Corolla until Rte 12 ends. Shift into 4wd and let the adventure begin! You have just entered North Carolina's 'Paradise.' Drive up the beach about 3 miles, make a left over the dune, follow the road around to the left and 'Far and Away' is on your right. Your troubles and the world will be far and away. Enjoy fabulous sunrises, sunsets, and starry nights. Built in 2003 this home has gathering areas as well as a reading nook. Views from the upper level great room and deck are fantastic. Upper level has great room with dining area, kitchen, powder room, and master bedroom with bath. Mid- level has 2 master bedrooms with baths, 2 other bedrooms, bath, and laundry. Ground level has spacious game room with kitchenette, full bath, and reading nook.

You can do as much or as little as you wish in this unique area. Sit on the decks and watch the porpoises in the ocean, the pelicans on patrol over the water, or the wild horses in the yard. Go to Duck or Corolla to visit the many interesting shops or for fine dining. Climb the Currituck Lighthouse or visit the Wright Brothers Memorial, the Whalehead Club, the aquarium, or Ocracoke. Go fishing, golfing, beachcoming, fly a kite, or do nothing at all.
