Other available items include a washer/dryer; BBQ grill, and a storage room (on the ground floor) for beach equipment. The pool is abpout 16 X 20 feet, with seating along the sides like a hot tub. It is well-suited for cooling off with a cold drink or playing with the kids.

Area Attractions: The fabulous North Carolina Aquarium and Historic Fort Fisher Civil War Museum are only a few miles down the beach---these are highly recommended. The WW II era battleship, the USS North Carolina is moored near downtown Wilmington and is open for tours during the summer. Historic downtown Wilmington is a nice place to visit, especially for night time dining.
