The construction of most of its buildings is residential and was carried out in 1890 coinciding with the years of modernism in Barcelona. Other monuments of this neighborhood that we cannot miss are the Casa Vicens (Antonio Gaudí's work), the Casa Fuster (designed by the architect of Catalan music Palau, Lluís domènech i Muntaner), the Plaza of the Diamant or the Plaza de la Virreina.
