Watch Island is one of the 1000 Islands set in a tranquil bay overlooking the St Lawrence Seaway. It is a newly restored 100 year old Victorian home with spectacular views of the ships, sunsets, 1000 Island Bridge, and Rock Island Lighthouse. Dining room is a large gracious room seats 6 to 16+ with 12 windows overlooking the seaway and evening sunsets. Comfortable living room furnished in antiques with piano, fireplace and views of the river. Country-size, full-service, eat-in kitchen and pantry. The house is surrounded by four furnished porches with breathtaking views....one enclosed in glass/ screens. All baths have claw-foot soaking tubs/ showers. Boathouse with deep water and plenty of dock space. Crystal clear water for swimming. The house was originally built with servants quarters so if anyone wishes to bring a nanny, cook or other staff there is plenty of room.

Notes: 1 king, 1 queen, 5 double, 2 cribs, 1 bassinet, 4 twin, 2 youth beds. Bread Machine, 2 propane steamers, 2 dishwashers, 2 washing machines, 2 clothes dryers, 2 refrigerators, massage table. Upon request we can arrange to get housekeepers, babysitters, chefs and masseuse. The masseuse comes to the island and recommends a massage outside on the dock, deck or lawn. She is the best in her profession and we highly recommend you include this in your stay.... heavenly! Our chef whips up the most divine meals you have ever tasted. Highly recommended!

Golf: There are many challenging golf courses in the area. One that you can go by boat.

Guest Book: Amazing! We fell in love with the island the moment we stepped foot on it. My fiance', Nate and I stayed a weekend with friends and didn't want to leave. The house is unbelievably gorgeous! Each of the rooms are spacious with incredible views of the river. ... and the sunsets are breathtaking. Second time back was even better. We took my parents for the first time and they were blown away. My Dad is big into woodworking and could not stop talking about the craftsmanship in the house. We took our boat this time and ventured onto the river. WOW! Just beautiful! We were surprised how friendly the people are in Clayton and the small shops and eateries were delightful. Another day we went to Alexandria Bay and Boldt Castle. Besides Watch Island the castle is my second favorite place. Third time is the charm.... came up with my fiance's family and Nate surprised me and proposed! We love this place so much we are getting married here Sept 2007. It is magical! Tammi
