Four good golf courses and a driving range within 30 minutes, plus the spectacular 'mountain' courses at Stowe and Sugarbush. Tennis and horseback riding in the village of Charlotte. The rich history of the Champlain valley. The Shelburne Museum contains perhaps the finest collection of early Americana to be found anywhere. Other exceptional one-day trips can be made to Mt. Mansfield, Ft. Ticonderoga, Mt. Philo, Stowe Village, Sugarbush and Ausable Chasm. Even the European charm of Montreal and Quebec City are just a few hours away.
