West Tisbury House Summary
Magnificent new home, the original front room was built in 1784. The old section was completely renovated and restored by the present owners. In 1998, a 5000 sq ft addition in keeping with the gracious Victorian exterior was added. The interior is air-conditioned and was built with all of the modern conveniences, spacious rooms and design of today. Sit and relax in the wicker rockers on the covered porch and enjoy the meadow, stone wall and flower gardens. There is also a large sundeck on the south side on which to enjoy your cookouts. This beautiful home is perfect for a large family or corporate retreat. Having a Vineyard wedding? This house would be perfect for the bride or grooms family. Fabulous place for a family reunion or 6 couples as each bedroom has an en suite bath and TV with cable.

Huge grassy yard perfect for volleyball, croquet, wiffle ball, rolling around, brick patios and sundecks on which to enjoy your cookouts. Large gas grill, and covered Victorian porch with gingerbread and rockers to relax. Very restful location.

- Bedrooms are beautifully appointed with fresh linens, excellent beds, all have TV's some with VCR's and there is a VCR library to enjoy. Some bedrooms have phones, 6 have private baths, 3 with whirlpools. The master bedroom is a real treat. It is 24' by 35' and has a 4 poster Mahogany, king sized bed, 2 Mahogany single sleigh beds, a fireplace, beamed cathedral ceiling, and sitting area with couch and chairs. The master bath has a two person whirlpool, large vanity and separate shower. It is fit for a King and Queen! Bedrooms #2 and 3 also have whirlpool tubs and showers. Bedrooms # 1,2 and 3 are on the main floor. Bedrooms #4,5,6,and 7 are on the 2nd floor. Although not considered 'handicapped assessable' bedroom #1 and the main living area will accommodate a wheelchair. You would need to bring a portable ramp.
