THE COTTAGE nestles in the side of a south facing hill,with large doors & windows opening east onto a grassy garden with mulberry & fig trees,& west onto 2 walled,sunny courtyards with flowering shrubs& herbs.The Ground Floor sitting room is prettily furnished in Provençale style with exposed beams,Provençale furniture & TV, DVD, Cd & tape player.The adjoining dining room/open plan kitchen leads onto a small courtyard. The dining room has a mix of antique Provençale & modern furniture.The kitchen is well equipped with large refrigerator, Siemens electric hob & oven,micro wave oven,washing & dishwashing machines,toaster,kettle, etc. 2 separate stairs lead to the 2 1st Floor bedroom suites,1 bedroom with 1m60 wide double bed & private shower room(shower, toilet, basin),the 2nd bedroom with twin beds & private shower room(shower,toilet,basin). Fans in each bedroom (rarely necessary with the extra thick walls).

We prefer a Thursday arrival: travelling is easier for our visitors, queues at airports are shorter, shopping for the weekend is easier AND fares are much cheaper.
OUTSIDE THE SUMMER PERIOD WE ACCEPT OTHER ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DAYS.
You can fly to any one of 3 airports & be within an easy drive of our property: Nice 110km (66 miles),Toulon/St Tropez airport 100km (60 miles), Marseile 100km (60 miles).Ryanair/easyJet/German operators HLX & Condor.
Eurostar/ TGV to Avignon. Direct flights New York-Nice.

Whilst we couldn't possibly have forgotten how beautiful the cottage and the surrounding countryside was when we spent our honeymoon there last May, it was wonderful to see such a gorgeous reminder. Our honeymoon may be a romantic memory now, but we are still longing to come back once again to re-capture the tranquil, romantic time we spent there.' JB, London.
We would like to return for another holiday: it was so peaceful and relaxing. The barbeque was a wonderful feature (we used it most nights), also the pool was fantastic. The holiday was a lot more than I could have imagined, I was just remembering the view from the pool of the mountains, it was so stunning.
