Guest Book: The largest Winter activity has got to be snowmobiling! You can pick up the trail right from the cottage and go hundreds of miles in every direction on some of Maine's best groomed trails. If you don't own snowmobiles, you can rent them locally as well as guides and instruction. It's best to avoid the first two weeks of June because of the black fly hatch. Although serious fisherman will tolerate these little biting flies, for the best enjoyment of the outdoors you should plan around this time.
