The home is a rustic old farmhouse which is constantly undergoing restoration the kitchen was renovated in 2003 along with many wood floors and carpeting. The house is very comfortable, the living room is 17' x 25' offering a large field stone fireplace with cathedral ceilings. The house offers 10 bedrooms, 3 queens, 3 fulls, and 7 twins. There is a large wrap-around porch which offers views up at the mountains and as well as 20 yards off of Otter Creek. A sauna house is situated across the parking lot. The house has numerous repeat customers, one group has been returning for 27 years. We have hosted two weddings, numerous family reunions. This farmhouse is a four-season location.

If you are looking for a brand new condo or completely refurbished home this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great place to get away and spend time with family and friends without worrying about breaking furniture, etc... than this could be the place for you. It offers great charm of an older home and the living room is very cozy in the winter when the fireplace is roaring. The beavers live in Otter Creek which is approx. 20 yards off the porch and most mornings and evenings you will see them out swimming around. They attempt to plug the culvert out by the road constantly. I have seen both bob cats and moose on the property and we hear bear constantly. The house is approx. 100 yards from route 7 on its own private drive. The road goes up the property and attaches to the Green Mountain National forest. It is very peaceful. There is also a deck on top of the hill where some groups like to conduct yoga.

Having made every trip, I have benefited from your graciousness. You trusted us with the house and property - and left us alone - and we appreciated that. Our trips would not have been what they were with out 'the house.' I was a late addition this year (almost didn't make it) because my wife and I are relocating to North Carolina - I think the guys will continue the tradition - I hope they will - and that I will be able to attend - we'll see.
