- Though the house has a variety of sleeping options, including good ,new, firm beds,only up to 4 persons are allowed. Generally this area is the most romantic of private, oceanfront retreats. In one step, walk from your front deck to the sandy beach, coconut trees, tidal pools, deep ocean. There is a free kayak for your use, an outdoor shower, various lounging chairs for reading or conversing, deck couches and hammock. Puako does not offer the luxuries of a hotel (tho you can drive those short miles), or the generic newness of a condominium complex. Its a real hawaiian beach house, with modern appliances.Hope it fits your needs and interests!
