Deer Isle - Stonington House Summary
Located at Old Quarry Ocean Adventures, which is a kayaking and camping facility. Guided kayak tours, sailing, canoing and a lobster charter boat all available for rent. The house sits 100 ft. from the ocean with spectacular views of the archipelago of islands in Penobscot bay. There is an on-site swim pond used by guests to cool off during the summer months.
In the fall enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the foliage out of the tower window of the house. The winter brings quiet and seclusion where after a long day you can sit by the fireplace. Also we are located on the Settlement Quarry Park where you can access the trails right from our property. This gorgeous rental home suits anyone's needs all year long!
House can sleep 9 but we would prefer 7.

There is much to do in Stonington. Not only are there art galleries, Haystack School of Crafts, Isle Au Haut - Acadia National Park, fine restaurants, beautiful sunsets, gorgeous islands, quaint lobster village, hiking parks, bicycle trails, there is also the Stonington Archipelago now becoming one of the premier paddling and boating spots in the country. There are over 60 islands in a 10 by 10 mile area. Of these 60 islands some 34 are open to the public for hiking, picnicking, and camping.
You can rent our boats, kayaks, canoes, sailboats, row boats, or you can come for a ride on the 38 foot lobstering cruise boat with us. We can drop you off on an island, or we can even give you a sunset lobster bake on an island or right on the boat.
