THE THANKS YOU'S KEEP COMING IN.: dear grace and tony have just got back home safe and sound but felt that we should email you immediately as a sign of how wonderful your apartment was and what a fantastic time we all had in NYC!! those four days will stay with us for a long time to come. thank you for your hospitality and willingness to help us in any way - kevin was so happy when you replaced that bed for him!! we would love to return some time in the future. we loved woodside - what a brilliant mix of people; so vibrant and alive and yet you always felt safe and secure. we would be only too happy to put any quote you want on your website or use us as a recommendation by giving our email address to anyone who wanted to know what your place is really like. once again thanks a lot for helping us have such a wonderful time. and especially for tony.... It had everything we needed, was spacious and comfortable and so much better than a hotel. It was also great to be staying in Woodside. It was a convenient base to have and felt like we were really experiencing NY life by living among normal suburban people, yet Manhattan was only a short train ride away! EVEN MORE THANK YOU'S: Dear Grace, Thank you for all your help, and please thank your husband We had the greatest visit, and took about 100 photos - we were real tourists. Oh, and that local Italian restaurant - well worth the money, I think it was the best Italian we'd all ever eaten! Anyway, thanks again for everything. The house was exactly what we needed to make our stay perfect, and being all together instead of in separate hotel rooms made it all the more special. Ski: Grace, We really did have a great time. My husband and I have never rented a place over the internet before so we were a little concerned about what we were getting into.....we were thrilled! We hope to come back soon (when your there) so we can visit places that only the locals know about. (It's my excuse and I'm sticking to it) We had bought the New York Pass for everyone so we got to see the highlights of New York. Jeff figured out the subway system the first day and not once did we have to take a taxi. I'll be emailing you soon with some dates to see if you can fit us into your calender. Golf: Hello Grace, I meant to write sooner and thank you for allowing us to rent your lovely property in Woodside. We had a wonderful holiday in NY. After the city, we went to Blauvelt and then to Long Beach Island. The kids really enjoyed the daily trips into the city from Queens, and we’re all longing to taste a Donovans burger again!! Staying in Queens gave the kids an authentic taste of real New York, and it is such a safe welcoming neighbourhood; we felt like we belonged there!v Also. It was lovely to come home after a long hard day in the city, to a nice clean apt, away from the hustle and bustle!John and I and a few friends hope to travel to NY in feb/ march next year and may possibly be interested in renting the apt. again. Guest Book: Exceaded all our expectations. Was closer to everything than we had thought (via.. subways) wich are very user friendly to those who have not used them before. Very close to the best restaraunt I have ever ate at , a diamond in the rough very much how I would describe this place. Very clean and well maintained would highly recomend this place. we will be going back as much as possible. Fell in love with the place, and maid some new friends for life. Robert, Dennis(son,father) , UTAH, USA 'We travel around the world quite a bit but this was our first ever visit to New York and we had planned to stay to the centre like most people then while looking for hotels we came across this gem in woodside - great transport links 5 minute walk to woodside station for train or subway. 15 minutes from JFK by car and the airtrain goes from the station. if you want a true feeling of NYC, its people and suburbs this place is great matt, london
