Brief Description: This is a great home for a getaway for family or friends! The home is on a wooded hillside location. From the deck, there are great views out over the lake, and Discovery Ski area is within sight as well. A walking or cross country ski trail is accessible right from the yard, and you can go for miles!

Bedrooms and baths: There are a total of three bedrooms in the home, plus a loft with extra sleeping space. The loft area is up over the living room, and has a pullout sofa bed. This is where you will find the only television and VCR for the home and library reading area with supply of books. On the main floor are two bedrooms with queen size beds. There is one full bath with tub and shower on this level. Finally, on the lower level of the home you will find the third bedroom, also with queen size bed. The lower level family room has another pullout sofa for larger groups. There is one more full bathroom on the lower level of the home.

Kitchen: The complete kitchen has an electric range and oven,dishwasher, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and grinder - all the necessities! There is plenty of cookware, serving ware and even a spice cabinet. All you need to bring are your groceries.

Dining area: The dining table will seat eight comfortably, and ten if you really want to get cozy. There is additional seating with three barstools at the kitchen counter, plus outdoor seating on the deck.

Living room: The living room has cushy leather sofas situated around the grand river rock fireplace. It also has a stereo with a CD player. There is additional gathering space up in the loft for those that want to watch a video ( no satellite or cable service at this home). Also, the lower level of the home has a partially furnished game room with a ping pong table. There is also a table for playing games or working on puzzles, etc.

Outdoor amenities: There is a gas grill and outdoor seating on the deck. There is a fire pit in the yard. A short drive from the home takes you to the public access on the lakefront.

Services available: The rental rate includes an end of stay cleaning. For guests who stay two weeks or more, a weekly cleaning will be done. Additional housekeeping, as well as catering service, and grocery shopping can be arranged with a bit of prior notice.

Activities nearby: From this convenient location you can go hiking, boating and fishing on the lake or nearby rivers, horseback riding, white-water rafting and mountain biking. It is a short drive to the historic town of Philipsburg, where you can see the old historic district, find great restaurants, shopping, etc. For winter guests, skiing is minutes away at Discovery Ski Area (no lines, affordable tickets, and incredible vistas!), or explore some of the great snowmobile or cross country ski trails. There's so much to do!

Distance to nearest airport: The airports in Butte or Missoula are both just over an hour's drive away.

Other details: No smoking is allowed in the home. No pets are allowed on the property or in the home without prior written approval from Mountain Home. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer and phone for guests' use. All Mountain Home properties have fully equipped kitchens, and include good quality kitchen, bath and bed linens, and staples like paper goods, laundry, dish and hand soaps.
