Coloma House Details
General Information: Enjoy the beautiful, white, sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. Rental includes access to a private beach association. Located 10 minutes from St. Joseph and 15 minutes from South Haven Michigan. Less than two hours from Chicago. Close to shopping, golfing, restaurants, fishing, fruit picking, winery tours, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing and a whole lot more.
St. Joseph Michigan: While staying at our cottages be sure to take a drive to St. Joseph. It is a wonderful town that offers a lot of activities for everyone. A good place to start is by visiting Silver Beach. It is a beautiful beach that in 2002 was voted one of the Top Ten Beaches by Parents Magazine. Don’t miss out on the great shopping and great restaurants located in the quaint downtown area. There is also a wonderful Children’s Museum located on the bluff, which is a great way to spend any day. There are many unique festivals and activities that take place throughout the entire year. One thing’s for sure - you will want to go back to visit again!
South Haven, Michigan: South Haven is a great town to visit and well worth the short drive. It offers year round activities but the summer is when it is at it’s best. With three nearby beaches you are never far away from a gorgeous lake view. There are activities and festivals all summer long. South Haven is the “Blueberry Capital of the World” and has a large festival in August to prove it! There is an amusement park, a Maritime Museum, and much more for family entertainment. And if you want a more easy going adventure, there is always window shopping in the unique shops and feasting at the wonderful restaurants. Whatever you decide you are sure to have a fun filled day!
