Charlevoix House Details

Michigan's 'Golf Coast.' : The Charlevoix Area is at the heart of Michigan's 'Golf Coast.' Belvedere, Dunmaglas, Charlevoix Country Club, and Antrim Dells are all within 15 minutes. Multiple courses at A-Ga-MIng at Torch Lake and Boyne Mountain, along with the Golf Magazine Siver Medal courses at Bay Harbor and Shanty Creek are all with a half-hour drive. In mid-summer, Mother Nature offers nearly 18 hours of daylight, and Charlevoix Haven offers non-golfing spouses easy access to the shopping, dining and beaches of Charlevoix right out the front door. Locking storage shed for your golf bags.

Day Trips from Charlevoix. : Charlevoix is an easy day trip from delightful destinations ranging from the orchards and vineyards of the Leelenau and Mission Peninsulas, to a ferry trip from Charlevoix to historic Beaver Island, to the 'tunnel of trees' drive along the coast north of Harbor Springs, to the automobile-free streets of Mackinac Island, But you still may not be able to pass all the delightful resort towns, antique shops, galleries and fudge shops along the way. If your tastes run to the more active, you can choose canoe/kayak trips on the crystal-clear Jordan River, hikes at Fisherman's Island State Park, or the non-motorized paved bike trail to Bay Harbor and beyond. Your day trip options are limited only by your will-power to leave the charms of Charlevoix itself!

New for 2008!: NEW IN CHARLVOIX: East Park, Charlevoix's crown jewel in downtown, has been undergoing extensive renovation, with new marina, performance venue and interactive fountain. With an expected completion in July, this major community focal point is only two blocks from Charlevoix Haven, and will be the center of gravity for activities in Charlevoix throughout the year. NEW AT CHARLEVOIX HAVEN: After a very successful inaugural season in 2007, we have added free local and long distance telephone, wireless internet, and a full-size crib in addition to our Pack-N-Play. We can also arrange for rental of a 30 foot slip at Northwest Marine Yacht Basin, with easy access to both Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. RENTING SOMEWHERE ELSE IN CHARLEVOIX this season? When you're downtown, walk by Charlevoix Haven at 102 East Hurlbut and check us out. Please don't knock--we will likely have guests--but give us a call. We will arrange a tour during a change-over, or another convenient time

Guest Book: Check out our guest comments at our website at www.charlevoixhaven.com.

Other Activities: 30 foot boat slip available. Art Fairs, Galleries, Fine Dining, Trout Streams, State Park, Bike Trail, Canoing
