Local Recreational Activities: Rent a boat right down the street and explore the local waterways, picnic on a secluded island, windsurf, jet ski or water ski. Hop on our local Baylady for a sightseeing tour of the area from the water. Oscar Scherer State Park, with nature trails and kayaking, is less than 1/2 mile from the house. Join a Dolphin Watch Cruises, Mote Marine Wildlife and Nature tour (led by botanists & marine biologists specializing in the local flora and fauna), Gulfcoast Heritage Trail, Myaka State Park Nature Tour and canoe trip, deep sea charter fishing, or a sunset cruise of the Bay with dinner and music.
