Recently renovated, the top apartment of Chalet Chimère (formerly Damami) retains this charming chalet's original character, with wood panelled walls, cosy atmosphere and a striking view of the mountains to the south.
There are two large double bedrooms, living room, dining room (seating 6 - 8) / kitchen plus a modern bathroom. Floors are bamboo and oak, and high quality lighting is installed throughout.
Each bedroom has a super-king size bed, which can be divided, using a ziplink system, to provide two single divan beds. A double sofa bed is available in the living room for occasional use, with a sliding wall for privacy to create an extra bedroom if required for occasional overnight visitors. A folding bed and cot are also available.
The dining area is well lit, with comfortable bench seating in an alcove, with an impressive southerly view. A newly fitted roof Velux window (auto-closing with rain-detector) allows a flood of light into the dining area and living room.

Leysin Apartment Rates
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.
- Deposits - 25% on booking with final balance due 8 weeks before start of rental. In addition a £150 security deposit is held against breakages and damage, and will be returned within 10 days after final inspection and return of keys and subject to any deductions. Minor replaceable breakages will not be charged. Holiday travel insurance including cancellation cover is strongly advised as rental payments are not refundable.
From approx. 29 December - 5 January only whole chalet rentals available - the individual apartments are not normally rented separately.
Discounts may be available for last-minute bookings, stays longer than one week and/or taking additional floors. Rental rates (in Swiss Francs) have been held at the same prices as the previous year. - Rental and deposit payments may be made by UK Sterling, Euro or Swiss Franc cheque or direct transfer to relevant bank account. Secure credit card payments available on request.
- All rental rates include weekly laundered linen and towels, heating, electricity and gas charges. A SFr 100 charge will be made for final cleaning of each apartment. Swiss Tourist tax is payable at Leysin Tourist office (SFr 2.80 per day for adults, SFr 1.70 per day for ages 7-16 and no charge over 64 and under 7) and entitles visitors to a generous discount on numerous sporting facilities in the local area including ski passes and lifts.
