Camden Cottage Summary

Country living only 7 miles from Camden Harbor on Hobbs Pond in Hope. Our 1500 square foot house has a large bedroom with half bath, second bedroom with double bed, and a sleeping loft above. The full bath has a tub/shower. There is a large common kitchen/dining/living area that opens to a screened porch and cozy deck only 20 feet from the waters edge. Our grassy yard slopes gently to the water, and the pond bottom continues to slope gently to deeper water. The house is quite roomy and comfortable but still keeps the flavor of a more rustic Maine cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with modern amenities. Skylights and oversized windows in the living room offer natural light and inviting views down the lake. There is a fixed 16' dock and a swim float. The rental includes the use of an Old Town canoe and 2 lake kayaks with paddles and life jackets. Hobbs Pond is a clean, quiet lake with great fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. The house is located on a dead end road.

Camden Cottage Rates

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

  • $1050 a week June through September. Rental period is from 2 pm Saturday to the following Saturday at 10 am.
    50% deposit and signed rental agreement to secure reservation. $300 security deposit and remainder of rental fee due 60 days prior to arrival.
