Enjoy the peace and quiet of the backwater cypress swamps of Louisiana in this quiet community minutes from Ponchatoula, strawberry capital of the world, also popular for its antique shops. By boat there are miles of rivers lined with moss laden cypress trees, back bayous and lakes with access to the Gulf of Mexico. By car, you are within one and a half hours from New Orleans, the Gulf Coast or the world's finest plantations of St. Francisville. Best of all, this is a place to relax at home, take beautiful walks, enjoy easygoing fishing, quiet paddling, bird watching or a game of croquet. A 5 minute walk will bring you to our neighborhood tennis courts and boat launch. Quiet family neighborhood; large parties are not welcome.

Carter Plantation, Audubon Golf Trail, is just down the road. Tickfaw State Park (nature center and hiking trails) is also close by.
