Beautiful country house and cottages in secluded gardens on doorstep of Rome. Excellent public transport from outside the garden gate. Car is not necessary. Just 8 kilometres, 20 minutes by car and train from the historic centre of Rome. We offer car service at reasonable rates. The property is divided in four self catering residences: West wing, Cottage Farina, Half Moon Cottage and East Wing Suite. West Wing and East Wing Suite can be combined to form one large unit. Surrounded by secular pines and cypresses . Swimming pool. Barbeque area. Comfortably and elegantly furnished with antiques and paintings by genuine masters. Delicious cooked meals available under the veranda. The estate belongs to an old aristocratic family.

Part of one of the biggest estates around Rome. This villa has most particular story: in the early 1900's it became a meeting place for a group of famous artists known as the 'Convivium Romanum'. Many beautiful paintings, which still decorate the villa, were left by them. Rome is only 30 mins away from this villa. (in Rome: Capitol, Palatine...)

Golf: Golf Courses There are two fine golf courses in the immediate vicinity of this property. The first is ‘OLGIATA’, which is north of VEIO along the Via Cassia. The other is ‘ARCO DI COSTANTINO’, which is on Via Flaminia km. 1 ‘Olgiata’ 10 mins. Away 27 holes set in lush countryside. 2 ‘Arco di Costantino’ 10 mins. away 27 holes near triumphal arch of Emperor Constantine. 3 Parco di Roma. 10 mins away, on the way into Rome 4 ‘Querce’ 30 mins. 18 holes, very technical, near a Roman amphitheater. 5 ‘Castelgandolfo’, 30 mins. (15 holes, very beautiful, sits inside the crater of a volcano near the Pope's summer residence and near the mysterious Nemi Lake). 6 ‘Roma Acquasanta’, 40 mins. 18 holes, very grand, with ancient Roman acqueducts and ruins all around. 7 ‘Marco Simone’, 40 min. 18 holes, belongs to famous fashion designer, not crowded. 8 ‘Fioranello’, 40 min. 18 holes near Roman ruins. 9 There are other courses further away, please ask us for further information.

Horse riding: Horse Riding 1 ‘Circolo Ippico Baccarat’: just up the Via di Santa Cornelia (6 km) tel. 06-334.7061. Club house. Outdoor school with night lighting. Jumping, dressage, complete. No horse trekking. They speak English. Also for children from 6 years of age. 2 ‘Agriturismo Due Laghi’: at Loc. Le Cerque, Anguillara, Lake Bracciano tel.9960.7059/67 for horse trekking, indoor school, swimming pool, restaurant.

Tennis: Tennis 1 See under Sports centres above. 'Saxa Rubra' tel. 3361.1907. Cost of entry for our guests is It. Lire 15,000 each. There is also a good bar and terrace. 2 A quieter place (especially in August) is just up the road. “Nuovo Circolo Tennis S. Cornelia” Via di S. Cornelia 731. tel. 06-334.6172/ 0338-324.1907. It would be best to ask us about this. It is a private club that welcomes our guests (Lit. 20,000 for entry). They have a nice pool and a restaurant.
