In the heart of the Perigord Noir within easy reach of St Cyprien, les Eyzies & most major touristic sights. Ideally placed for golf (4km), tennis & canoeing. The restored stone barn is tastefully furnished & is very well equipped. It is built on 2 levels with direct access to both levels. The lounge has 2 convertible (double) canopy beds, colour satellite TV & DVD. Both bedrooms have oak beams, twin single beds or double (as requested) & cot; 2 separate bathrooms with baths & WC (1 separate), Washing machine. The fully equipped kitchen includes electric oven, gas hotplates, & microwave oven, dishwasher & ironing facilities. The electricity, central heating, bed linen & towels are inclusive. Outside you will benefit from a garden, courtyard, barbecue & garden furniture. The Floodlit solar heated 11 x 5m pool has roman steps & well equipped with lounger’s & parasols, protected by a 2m high fence & very well situated: sunny & great views ,average water T° in summer between 26 & 30°.

The barn is in a great location within 4 km of St Cyprien a typical Dordogne market town ( it's Sunday market,) built on a hillside surrounding an ancient Abbey, 4 km from Le Coux & it's superb river beach, Siorac 2 Golf Courses & supermarket & 10 km from le Bugue (4 supermarkets & touristic sights) .La bergerie is 13km from Les Eyzies : Prehistoric caves, The brand new national Prehistoric Museum & canoeing, within 30 minutes of Sarlat the famous medieval city. The area has many good food & wine shops not to mention the restaurants. The gite is at the top of a small valley overlooking the Dordogne valley but in a very peaceful setting. Off the beaten track it offers all the necessary facilities and services but is very restful for those who are seeking calm & great views.

Guest Book: what a brilliant place, fantastic views from the patio a real pleasure to wake up to. For us the holiday is essentially a relaxing break away from it all an Tim & Corinne have certainly created the means for us to achieve that. we made great use of the excellent pool; The bottle of wine and the food provided at the start of our holiday by Corinne was a real welcome & the change of linen each week was an added bonus. many thanks to Tim & Corinne Rob, haryl, Julian & Hannah 13/8....27/8/2005. Thanks for keeping the 'Gite' in perfect condition and keeping the pool clean. had a fantastic holiday. Chris & Dan 13/7/2005 Very relaxing holiday, gite well equipped. Pool great.
