It is located on the favoured north shore of PEI, only 15 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Charlottetown. The house is a 4 bedroom Executive vacation home with 4 bathrooms in almost an acre of waterfront land with glorious views across Brackley Bay to the sand dunes of the National Provincial Park. The house has 4 double bedrooms that sleep 8, 4 baths (2 full bathrooms (1 ensuite to the master bedroom) and 2 half bathrooms), a comfortable lounge with views across the bay, separate formal dining area, fully fitted kitchen with dining area and dishwasher, separate laundry room and a wraparound covered deck with screened-in area to watch the sunsets over a glass of wine whilst the food cooks on the gas barbeque. 10 golf courses within 5-30 mins drive. Furnished throughout with stylish and comfortable furniture and fittings to make a memorable vacation for families.

Somerset House is situated on the favoured north shore of Prince Edward Island. The house overlooks Brackley Bay's natural shoreline, and is just a few minutes drive from the beaches and sand dunes of the National Park at Brackley Beach (pass provided). While being in a beautiful peaceful location the house is only 15 minutes from Charlottetown Airport and 20 minutes from the centre of Charlottetown, a bustling city with it's many shops, restaurants, cinemas, banks, historic harbour side and Confederation of the Arts Theatre. Also within easy reach are some of the wonderful golf courses which have made PEI the number one golf destination in North America. For families, as well as the nearby beaches, there is the Confederation Trail for cycling, nearby Cavendish for 'Anne of Green Gables', just a few minutes drive away there is an outdoor cinema, horse riding, canoeing, selection of excellent local restaurants and further afield the water park .

Bedrooms 2 and 3 have queen beds with quality bedding, built in double door closet and separate cupboards with fitted shelves. Bedroom 4 is an open plan loft bedroom with two single beds that can be put together to make a king bed, if required. It has a two piece bathroom with vanity unit plus a built in closet. There is a ceiling fan, air exchanger plus a flat screen TV, DVD, Ipod player and CD player, ideal space for teenagers. All bedrooms are supplied with quality bedding. For families with a baby a full size cot plus a high chair can be provided upon request.

Notes: The kitchen is fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker, kettle, tea pot, kitchen utensils, saucepans, with ample crockery, cutlery and glasses, plus a desk area with dial up internet access available. There is a fully equipped laundry room with washing machine and dryer. The house has central heating for cooler nights plus an air exchanger. The loft bedroom has a fitted ceiling fan whilst the other bedrooms have individual fans. The lounge has two large comfortable sofas, coffee tables, lamps and up lighter plus binoculars to watch the birds on the bay, look out for the Bald Eagle and Osprey families. There is a selection of DVDs and a basket of books. The dining room has an extendable table that seats 8 with a hutch and buffet and selection of glasses for your formal dining. There is also a selection of indoor and outdoor games provided. The enclosed veranda with barbecue and large glass patio table with chairs is an ideal place to relax and watch the sun go down

Golf: It's no small feat when Canada's smallest province becomes Canada's Number One Golf Destination, and this tiny province has earned the distinction twice in a row. For new and experienced golfers alike, Prince Edward Island offers a golfing experience not to be missed with more than 30 courses to fit every skill level - from scenic nine hole courses to those rated among the top 10 in Canada! 5 minutes drive from Somerset House (or 15 if you feel like walking) is Stanhope, a professionally maintained and mature 18 holes consisting of satisfying par 3s, long par 4s and par 5s where birdies are possible. Playing alongside the scenic Covehead Bay the ocean breezes can contribute to an interesting round. Check out the golf map and you will find a further 10 courses within 10-20 minutes drive, close enough to have a round in the morning, pop home for lunch before moving on to another course in the afternoon.
