Russian River Cottage Details
Near golf, kayaking, fishing, hiking, gourmet restaurants, spas, wineries, wine and cheese tasting, galleries, Armstrong Redwoods, Pacific Ocean--three miles downstream, profuse wildlife. The river beckons year round but especially during the summer.
We are adding 2 kayaks for your enjoyment for an additional charge if this is something you'd like to do. Hiking at the coast is a must do. The options are easy or complex. Your choice. Duncans Mills was the end of the line on a rail that once ran until around the beginning of the century. Hard to believe but the tiny villages nearby at Occidental and Monte Rio were bustling towns much larger than what you see today. Duncans Mills is only 75 miles north of San Francisco.
