It is located 25 minutes south of Tucson, just a short drive from Nogales Mexico and old west towns such as Tombstone and Bisby. Tubac has a destination class golf course, unique art galleries and restaurants. This includes: swimming pools, spas, tennis courts, racquetball, shuffle board, cards, dancing, computer/camera clubs, day trips, woodworking hiking and a lot more. Pet Friendly Pets considered on a case-by-case basis with Pet Deposit. Smoking permitted outside on Patio Green Valley offers many forms of recreation in the rural Santa Cruz River Valley overlooking the Santa Rita Mountain range.
Medara Canyon is only 20 minutes away and offers over 200 different species of birds that reside in the area. Bird watchers journey form all over the world to view some of the extremely rare birds in their natural habitats. This is an age-restricted community requiring one person to be the age of 55 years which makes this a safe and friendly place to visit. Green Valley is a great location for exploring Southern Arizona. It's within 4 or 5 hours from the Grand Canyon and Sodona. If a trip to Mexico to fill prescriptions, shop or explore the Sea of Cortez at Rocky Point is an adventure you seek, it's just a few hours away. At a high desert elevation of 2,900 feet, Green Valley enjoys a cooler climate the Phoenix or Tucson. Annual temperatures average 80 degrees during the daytime and 50 degrees at night.
